I see myself as an urban hunter gatherer. I treasure “found objects” that have been cast aside, eroded by time or elements. Regeneration and the re-use of materials is important to me, echoing environmental issues. Antique shards, rust and used tea bags have all been coerced to perform in my projects.
With a design background the work I produce is a never ending series of experiments predominantly manifesting themselves in a linear form on various surfaces. Whether I engage with glass or textiles, traditional methods, which I am keen to promote have harnessed my interest.
